- Cross-country riders can also try the South Boundary Trail that starts just south of Angel Fire and traverses the Kit Carson National Forest to Taos
Zipline
- The Angel Fire Zipline Adventure Tour features four ziplines at the top of the mountain, high above the stunning Moreno Valley. Tours typically take two to three hours, and the ziplines vary from 120 to 1,600 feet in length. Between ziplines, you’ll walk along a well-maintained path which allows you to fully enjoy the beauty of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

Whitewater Rafting
- New Mexico River Adventures
Outdoor experiences are offered in and around the Santa Fe/Taos area of northern New Mexico. You can choose from a scenic float through the azure canyon of the Rio Chama or a wild whitewater run through the Class IV rapids. - Big River Raft Trips

Off Roading
- The Carson National Forest has over 50 miles of off-road trails near Angel Fire.
- You’ll need a New Mexico ATV/OHV permit if you bring your own machines. You can get your permit in advance by calling the New Mexico Game and Fish Department at 505-476-8000. Note that different rules apply to off-roading in Angel Fire and in the Carson National Forest.
