Angel Fire offers a variety of events throughout the year, ranging from guided art tours to mountain adventures and outdoor concerts. During the winter holidays and Fourth of July, you can enjoy a parade and fireworks display. If you’re up for a challenge, participate in one of our fishing, skiing, or mountain biking competitions. Local goods can be purchased to add an extra touch of festivity to your holiday celebrations, and you won’t want to miss out on the enchanting torch-lit night skiing parade.

Angel Fire Spring Events

Springtime in Angel Fire is a time to celebrate the changing seasons. While skiing continues throughout March, the town opens up for the upcoming Summer Season by the time May arrives.

Angel Fire offers a plethora of exciting summer events suitable for couples, groups, and families alike. From lively music performances, awe-inspiring Fourth of July festivity to a charming spectacle of hot air balloons embellishing the skies, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

• Annual Angel Fire Hot Air Balloon Festival

• • Where: Angel Fire Airport
  • When: Father’s Day weekend 
  • Event Highlights: As if the sunny mountain skies weren’t already beautiful enough, watch as dozens of brightly-hued hot air balloons fly into the scene. This FREE festival includes outdoor music performances, bring your own chairs for tailgating and a balloon glow on Saturday night.

• 4th of July Parade & Drone Fireworks Display in Angel Fire

Angel Fire Fall Events

• 30th Annual Fish Fest and 4th Annual Pike Round-Up

• Fall Foliage

  • Event Highlights: Enjoy 50 acres of easy terrain as you ski or snowboard under the stars. Sharpen your skills on jumps at the terrain park. Stay out for drinks and live music at nearby venues.
