Wheeler Peak Lodge

Wheeler Peak Lodge contains three luxurious condos and a group housing space. It is a short drive to the slopes or a short walk to a ski shuttle stop. Wheeler Peak Lodge boasts some of the best views in the Angel Fire area. The Lodge gets its name from the unparalleled views of Wheeler Peak (at 13,161 feet it is New Mexico’s tallest peak). Those views are easy to soak up with our spacious decks and large windows!

Wheeler Peak Lodge’s upper floor features three condos: Ponderosa, Peak and Aspen. Ponderosa and Aspen have two bedrooms (one king with ensuite bathroom and one with two full sized beds). Both bedrooms have access to a private balcony. The Peak is a loft-style bedroom with a full view of Wheeler Peak. The loft bedroom has a private bathroom while the downstairs living area has a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. All condos feature full kitchens and two queen sized sleeper sofas.

Wheeler Peak Lodge’s lower floor contains a modern group lodging center. It features a central common area flanked by two wings of 22 bunks each for a total of 44 bunks. Each bunk wing has three showers, three toilets and four sinks. All bunks have a privacy curtain and a storage drawer that is lockable with a padlock. The central common area features a household kitchen with coffee maker, kitchen sink, stove/oven, dishwasher, and household refrigerator. Adjacent is a dish/food storage cabinet, a commercial freezer and commercial refrigerator. There is a kitchen table that seats 8-10. Two leather couches provide for comfortable lounging. Entertainment features include a 65” HDTV and a pool table. The common area has a family full size bathroom. Both the common area and the bunk wings open to a large, covered patio that is perfect for summertime lounging. A large propane grill is available for outside cooking.

The entire Lodge features unbeatable views of Angel Fire and Wheeler Peak. Its proximity to the Village center makes it convenient for large groups. The group lodging is perfect for scouts, church, family, high altitude training and work crew groups!
